Below is the Ohio Consumers' Counsel (OCC) policy regarding linking to
our Web site.
The purpose of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel Web site is to enhance our
education efforts and provide additional utility information to Ohio's
residential consumers.
Qualification Standards
Any entity meeting the following qualifications may have a link from
OCC's Web site to the entity's web page:
- Be actively engaged in providing utility or utility related services
to Ohio's residential utility consumers.
- Be in compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
for providing utility or utility related services to Ohio residential
consumers.
How to Apply
- Print and fully complete the application and
mail it to the

- Upon receipt the Ohio Consumers' Counsel will contact your organization
within 14 business days regarding the status of your application.
- All links to the Ohio Consumers' Counsel Web site are limited to a
uniform size and shall not include additional information other than
a hot-link identifying the entity's name with the link. The placement
of links on the Web site is the sole discretion of the Ohio Consumers'
Counsel. Having a link on the Ohio Consumers' Counsel Web site does
not in any way confer endorsement of the entity by the Ohio Consumers'
Counsel.
- The OCC reserves the right to condition approval of or reject applications
for links to the Electric Choice web pages of one who does not qualify
as an entity pursuant to the qualification standards.
