Legislative Services
The Office of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel (OCC) is committed to actively
participating in the legislative process involving issues relating to public
utilities. The OCC monitors legislative activities, provides testimony
on bills relating to utility issues and is available to assist legislators
in the drafting of legislation.
Members of both the House and Senate should contact
the OCC if their constituents have a question or concern about
their public utilities services. The OCC maintains a Consumer Response
Center to help address these types of issues and advocate on behalf
of residential utility customers.
